Bernie's a progressive that likes getting things done, too.

It's just that he doesn't accept that "getting things done" has to mean starting out proposing nothing but tiny, trivial increments.

Or treating labor, the poor, the young and activists the enemy or as small children.

Or checking your dreams at the door.

2. Good luck getting anything ANY Dem president proposes through a GOP Congress.

We already know they will block everything HRC proposes. Why even pretend Ryan or McConnell would negotiate with her.

The difference is, Bernie will fight to get a massive turnout that can flip the Senate and maybe even start the process of flipping the House, too. HRC won't bother.

How many Dem gains in either house will HRC even try to get?

She and Bill never tried to get a Dem majority in the House or Senate after 1994, and actually were far happier seeing their own party kept powerless for the rest of Bill's term.

We can only get past the current situation with mass mobilization, and your candidate doesn't want anything like that to happen.

Sorry he has shown no inclination towards doing that this year.

7. He is running a presidential campaign.

Presidential candidates don't campaign for congressional or senatorial candidates until after the nomination is settled.

And the enthusiasm Bernie is building in the people(unlike HRC, a candidate no one anywhere supports passionately)will be what leads to Democratic gains. We can't make gains in the fall with a centrist "eat your spinach" campaign.

We can only do it by being the party of dreams, the party of enthusiasm.

others to vote his way. How did that work out for him? How will being President make a difference? Does he work across the aisle? Or is he going to govern by decree?

9. Most of that time was in Republican-controlled Congresses.

There weren't any Dems who got stuff passed when we were in the minority. HRC only got stuff passed after we took both houses(due solely to the work of progressive activists on the ground)in 2006.
