1. The DNC, headed up by Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, decides which candidates it will throw

its support - manpower and money - to. Debbie does not like progressives, so it takes more than just "running as a democrat". As we see with Bernie. For instance, Debbie did not want Alan Grayson, a progressive, running against Patrick Murphy (turned Dem from GOP in 2012, just to run against another GOP candidate, is a real DINO) in a primary to see who would run for Rubio's Senate seat. The Florida Progressive Caucus was threatened with decertification (whatever that means) if they persisted in wanting Grayson to run.

We need to root out the Centrists and DINOs at the top, to be able to get a lot more progressive candidates in there.

2. We have Feingold in a comeback race for the senate

Pocan, an incumbent seems pro-Sanders, but so far we've got 4 R's without a dem challenger.

Libertarians have more challengers than dems, sort of reflects larger chaos of the republicans.
