The timing of Bloomberg's mullings becoming public makes this story reek of skullduggery

between him and the DLC and/or camp weathervane.

If Bloomberg were serious about running why announce it now when his best chance to win according the FT is to run against Sanders. Wouldn't it be better for him to stay silent and let Sanders win one, two or three primaries and by doing so let Hillary be revealed as a weak candidate, unworthy of the nomination?

If he has a real chance at the presidency why would an ambitious guy like him give Hillary help securing the nomination?

Sort of like when Biden was considering running.

Then we'll be able to do polling-only prognostication's like Nate Silver.

I have an image of a dark backroom somewhere, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, and Michael Bloomberg putting together a strategy to ensure that if Hillary doesn't get the nomination, Trump and Bloomberg will work together to destroy Sanders.

The ultimate goal is to maintain the current class structure, and continue to amass wealth at the top. Anyone who doesn't think the Clintons would be involved in such shenanigans is delusional.

these billionaires and multi-millionaire Clinton appearing on the scene, frankly their vying with each other seems like kabuki theatre.

the primaries and just as Hillary's numbers sink. If he thinks Sanders is going to win, why not simply let events take their course, then if FT is right he could win the presidency if he's up against Sanders and Trump.
