Has social media lessened the impact of smears and

negative campaigning?

The kitchen sink and everything else has been flung at Bernie in the last 10 2 weeks or so, by large chunks of the media, the Clinton campaign and affiliated SuperPacs, as well as Clinton surrogates. So far, it appears to be ineffective or even counterproductive.

Social media has been on top of it, working to counter the many negative talking points.

Now maybe the kitchen sink brigade will be successful in damaging Bernie, or maybe they're hurting Hillary.

This is so well known that I can't figure out how you came to your conclusion. Social media as an arbiter of truth is absolutely laughable.

Sanders campaign stole Clintons data in an attempt to gain edge.

Sanders calls PP "establishment" knowing full well he and his supporters are fighting against the "establishment."

Sanders is fomenting governmental distrust at the same time he is acting as if he wants to expand the federal governments powers.

Sander is running on a platform that is based more in fiction than reality.

And who do you say is going scorched earth? lol.

And her lying political operatives like your beloved David Brock.

Why do you think the stream of attacks against Bernie appear to be so ineffective?

Most people using social media to find out political information require a lot more proof than the average Joe drinking a beer and watching the news.

It's a fact.

I don't even get the direction of your thought. It goes against what is very well known. Facebook as an arbiter of truth is one of the funniest things I have read this primary. People have put themselves in a position to argue things like this. I find it to be hilarious. It does make sense in the bigger picture and how Sanders comes to his support.

The internet has given people the ability to research and fact

check their candidates.

I think young people are tired of being lied to.

I am 62 and I know I am tired of it.

They know the MSM lies, distorts, omits, and fails to cover the

issues of importance.
