CUOMO: Youre willing to say it was an error in judgment, you shouldve apologized
CLINTON: No. Im not willing to say it was an error in judgment because what nothing that I did was wrong. It was not it was not in any way prohibited. And so
CUOMO: Not apologizing sooner I mean.
CLINTON: Well, apologizing sooner, as soon as you can. But part of the problem, and I would just say this as, not an excuse but just as an explanation. When youre facing something like that, you got to get the facts. And it takes time to get the facts. And so when I said, hey, take all my emails, make them public. That had never been done before, ever, by anybody. And so weve been sorting our way through this because it is kind of a unique situation.
Im happy people are looking at the emails. Some of them are you know, frankly, a little embarrassing
(LAUGHTER)
You know. You find out that sometimes Im not the best on technology and things like that. But, look, I think its great. Let people sort them through. And as we have seen, there is a lot of you know, a lot of interest. But its something that took time to get done.

(2,872 posts)Yeah, I'd definitely be embarrassed if I had the temerity to flout the regulations for dealing with high-classification email. Triply so if the place I put 'em wasn't air-gapped or didn't have any kind of counter-intrusion measures.

(12,606 posts)Utter bullshit.
It's not technology that Hillary has an issue with. She would leave that up to her tech people. So not only is that disingenuous, but it is a well-hidden lie.
The bigger problem is she thought that the rules didn't apply to her...that they are for us proles to observe.
She guessed wrong.

Even the NY Times notes Hillary's plastic, ever-morphing, finger-to-the-wind persona:
Mrs. Clinton emerged from the cloistered world of Foggy Bottom and arrived on the campaign trail more detached and protected, in layers of security and staff, than she was eight years earlier.
Asked last fall why Mrs. Clinton was not running the way she did when she was losing in 2008, her communications director, Jennifer Palmieri, would reply matter of factly: Because shes not losing.
But in the last week, something shifted, as Mrs. Clinton faced sagging poll numbers and the reality that she could endure another loss in the caucuses, this time to Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
On Thursday, when the microphone cut off and Katy Perrys Roar blared from the speakers at a skating rink in Vinton, Iowa, Mrs. Clinton yelled over the music: I will spend my time here going down the line, she said. I will answer anybodys questions about anything because I really want you to know where I stand on all these issues.
She then displayed a breezy, agreeable manner ....
Hillary Clinton, Battling in Iowa, Turns Warm Under Pressure
DAVENPORT, Iowa At big ballroom dinners on the campaign trail, Hillary Clinton often emerges from behind a curtain to deliver a speech, then disappears again behind the folds when finished. But

(18,115 posts)This is going to hurt her, and us if she is the nominee. I simply cannot understand how her supporters act like there is not there there, when the FBI has been investigating for 6 months. Get a fucking clue people.
The FBI is not concerned about what she watches on tv or whether she is adept with her devices. There is a reason her IT invoked his 5th Amendment rights. His attorney realized he was at risk for criminal liability.
