A sunny disposition allows you to get more accomplished and that is one of the key factors why Reagan was so successful. I hate Reagan but that doesn't blind me to analyzing him. One must divorce themselves from their emotions in order to provide an accurate understanding of one's success.

The "crabby" guy wins because the majority of the people like what he has to say. Even though Bernie's personal demeanor seems gruff, the truth is that his message is positive. Hillary's is negative; she's saying "No, we can't do that" to everything Bernie advocates - single payer health care, funded college, restoring bank regulation - and that's what people are responding to.
