back in 2005 that odd laughter got to me too. I kept thinking what is so funny about privatizing and voucherizing and taking things away from people. I just don't get the laughter thing. It just seemed so out of place.

privatizing "personalizing" SS gets a laugh because it is a way of fooling the public into doing something they don't want. And it makes those sickos feel good at the idea of pulling the wool over the eyes of the people - who they hate. IMHO
