We they say, "NO WE CAN'T," what they really mean is...

WE WON'T TRY.

It's all the information one needs to make an informed decision.

Here are my most important issues in making a choice for the next leader of the United States.

1) A real push to Universal Health Care for ALL.

2) 100% Public funding of all elections. No more policy by bribery.

3) REAL restrictions on banksters with teeth.

4) Too big to fail is too big to exist.

5) All subsidies of fossil fuels ended and funds redirected to renewable energy sources.

My Top 5. There more, but if a candidate tells me they WON'T EVEN TRY to address these, there is no reason I would ever support or vote for them. These are not negotiable.

From Clinton from yesterday on tv where she said that she would make a difference in people's lives, not some time way in the future, but from her very first day in office.

I found that to be a bit of a fantasy. But then I'm only a voter. Not an important pundit.

The first Clinton sure did. Thanks to her husband I have to work 5 years longer to retire on 1/2 as much income.

So quite frankly, I prefer Hillary stay the fuck out of my life, permanently.

I'd add rebuilding the infrastructure and changing the tax laws to really penalize all companies that outsource our work force to other countries or who move their "headquarters" overseas while doing the vast majority of their business here. Those 2 would really help rebuild the middle class and pull lots of people up from poverty. I'd also change the carried interest provision so the ultra rich would actually pay a fair share.

I am old enough to remember the space race of the 60's. That should have proven that we can do anything that we have the will to do. We need to replace our failing infrastructure, get universal healthcare, reform Wall Street, and expand our uses of alternative energy. I am afraid for the world that my grandchildren will inherit if we continue in the same direction. We need to make enormous changes now.

Hillary and all the establishment pols look at these proposals and think, "how can I keep my millions and my lifestyle without the billionaire class bribing me to be their representative in government? I can't."

Which comes out of their mouths as, "these proposals are impossible".

Well, it's time for a Sander's revolution!!!

The Sander's revolution is the long overdue answer to the Reagan revolution.

Right now the public funding of elections would be a biggie on my list, plus voting rights. Encouraging people to vote, rather than putting barriers in place (allow vote by mail, etc.). No gerrymandering, hand count ballots, give a tax credit to people who participate in the democratic process by voting, make election day a holiday... VOTING IS A BIG DEAL. It's essential that more people become involved and vote.

Overturning Citizens United is another one for me.
