I read this on on the internet...

Last edited Sat Jan 30, 2016, 09:27 PM - Edit history (1)

it was said by a supporter of a democratic candidate.

"Hillary couldn't even beat the black guy".

Now I'm an Obama supporter, not ashamed to admit it. What I am ashamed of is a Democrat calling President Obama 'the black guy'. I know he's not lived up to everyone's expectations, but he deserves better than 'the black guy' He's done good things. He's the 'leader' of our party. To see someone that's a Democrat, or at the very least supporting someone running for the Democratic nomination refer to him as 'the black guy' is wrong among other things....

edited to clarify: It was not a Hillary supporter that said this. This was said ABOUT Hillary by a supporter of one of the other DEMOCRATIC candidates.

which you people keep claiming exist and are trying to burn Hillary by boosting Bernie.

I know there are a few. This quote is probably proof of one. Another giveaway is when they refer to "the Democrat party", as RW talk radio always refers to us...

only one person was disturbed by it enough to call attention to it. In fact, it even went before a jury which voted 1-6 to leave it. It wasn't even close.

Now it seems today, at least a host of that group has actually done as you mentioned, and blocked that person. A few have joined in to register disgust, which is right the right thing to do, so all that is good stuff.

To be honest though, a lot of folks were using that thread to tell other DUers who were not supporting their candidate what they could do. It was an extremely negative thread to say the least, and it sure didn't reflect well on Bernie.

I am at least glad to see the disruptive post was taken care of. Kind of sad that a jury didn't recognize it though

On the internet.

I weep at some of the stuff I read on the internet. I don't read any political article on yahoo news for example. Enough to make me very afraid.

So was this out there somewhere or was it on this site? If it was on this site, please link so we all can give them a good thrashing.

Yes, that is disgusting.

Next time, stop being so obtuse and just link, it sounded like somewhere in the vastness of the internet.

I love President Obama, he hasn't been a perfect President by far, but he has been a good President for the times. I love the man, I love his family. I cannot say that about any other president in my lifetime.

It may be because I am Latina and he represents a lot of things, and I know by members of my family who are darker, he has faced a hostile world and still carries this light inside of him. I do not regret voting for him twice.

If anyone actually reads what I wrote that's the point. He doesn't deserve that. ESPECIALLY from a Democrat. I was pretty vague as to who and where this was posted because the point was what was said about President Obama.

I didn't post a link for a reason. The comment stands on it's on.

That's something you'd hear from the Republicans. Not from a Democrat.

I get so tired of hearing shit from the right, to see that from one of 'ours'? No, just no.

According to Hillary supporters Bernie is Israel's #1 shill, a pro gunner that thinks women enjoy being raped, that we should abolish pedophilia or rape laws, is a racist, gun nut, draft dodger, scheming little sneak, socialist throwback jackass, drooling sweating old fool, scumbag, pandering phony braggart with some kind of emotional instability, tool for the NRA, Republican man with his head between women's legs, who protects the minutemen militia, pedophiles, racist cops, has rape fantasies, thinks that orgasms prevent cancer, wants guns in the streets, is trying to suppress the black vote and is supported by Stormfront.

No one can pretend their associates are better than the other guys.
