(90,189 posts)Hillary talks with people. Bernie lectures at them. Loudly.
But he's passionate. Spittle-flecked, but passionate.

(31,170 posts)And I hope they do debate in Flint. I'd love to see the focus placed on infrastructure if they do. There is a LOT that needs to be done.

(11,785 posts)All three candidates say they're willing to do more sanctioned debates. If Hillary truly wants more debates to happen, she should call up her former campaign chair and let her know.

(9,841 posts)It's highly disturbing to me that they think they can get away with recasting Hillary as the one who wanted more debates, and not Bernie. As another poster wrote, shades of George Orwell.
On second thought, it's not funny at all - it's actually a little bone-chilling.

DES MOINES, Iowa Bernie Sanders campaign manager, Jeff Weaver, issued the following statement Saturday on negotiations over additional debates:
After refusing for months to participate in more debates, Secretary Clinton requested that the Democratic National Committee rules be changed and that a new debate take place in New Hampshire next week. We agreed pending an agreement on three future debates in March, April and May. Unfortunately, the Clinton campaign has not accepted debates we proposed on March 3 in Michigan and April 14 in New York. They apparently agreed to May 24 in California. The Clinton campaign, after not accepting Michigan, now says they want it. We are pleased to do it on March 3 before the Michigan primary provided the Clinton campaign will agree to Brooklyn, New York, on April 14. Why wont they debate in Brooklyn? Whats the matter with Brooklyn?
That URL is golden.

(854 posts)it's no wonder you're terrified. How pathetic: next you'll be discussing Shillery's proposed increase to the choco-rations.

(90,189 posts)JURY: Shillary is indeed a Right Wing nickname for Hillary. Perhaps the poster knows this. Perhaps they did not know it but have now been told.
