Tom Brokaw of NBC tried to downplay Sanders' chances by comparing him to Dean.

He noted Dean's supporters were "loud," but loudness wasn't enough to stop him from finishing a distant third. He argued Sanders' supporters are "loud" but not numerous enough. He offered no evidence for this other than his observation. Anyone with on the ground experience in Iowa see the same trend or is Sanders' support a different animal altogether?

It is quite amazing to see, one-by-one the talking heads feeling the Bern. Ouch!! They say, what the hell was that?

Of course the polls could change, especially if Bernie wins the first two states, but every national poll I've seen shows Hillary leading Bernie.

Perhaps that's the evidence that they aren't numerous enough?

I am old and have a land line and a cell phone (every once in a while I hear from someone I have not heard from in the last 20 years, heh. it is like hoarding, can't let the land line go)

I think they're numerous enough in Iowa. The real question is 'Are they spread out enough?' and we'll find that out in a couple of days.
