Paul Ryan: ‘We expected media bias going into this’ - ROFL!

The amazing thing is that Paul Ryan manages to say this without a hint of irony on Fox News! The only victims out there are Republicans whining about their false claims that the media is biased and the polls are biased against them. Also, it simply does not make sense. The corporate media, which is paid for by corporate sponsors, is going to be biased against a pro-corporate party? Tell that to OWS, peace activists or immigration activists who are ignored in favor of tiny Tea Party protests.

On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” Republican vice-presidential nominee Paul Ryan told host Chris Wallace that he and running mate Mitt Romney expected liberal media bias to affect their campaign from day one.

“I think it kind of goes without saying that there is definitely a media bias,” Ryan said. “Look, I’m a conservative, Chris. I’m used to media bias. We expected media bias going into this. That’s why we’re trying to cut through and go straight to people. That’s why when in Washington you hear people complain about media bias, come out into these states with us and attend our town hall meetings.”

Ryan wouldn’t offer specific examples, but said he has witnessed media bias throughout his career.

“I’m not going into a tit-for-tat or litigate this thing,” Ryan said. “But as a conservative, I’ve long believed, long felt that there is inherent media bias, and I think anybody with objectivity would believe that is the case.”

“I think most people in the mainstream media are left-of-center,” Ryan added. “And, therefore, they want a very left-of-center president versus a conservative president, like Mitt Romney … I’ll let you decide what people want, what’s in their hearts, what’s in their minds. We’re offering conservative reforms that are proven ideas to grow the economy. We want to reapply our nation’s founding principles to fix those problems. I would argue our president is replacing our founding principles.”

Liberal media. They're taking away your guns. They're baby killers. They're socialists.

If brains were cotton, you couldn't get enough out of Ryan to make a T-shirt for a piss ant.

Good ol' "liberal media bias" fallback. I seriously wish these people would STFU about this. They practically own the airwaves and have a media outlet or one or two or three whose correspondents pretty much parrot whatever they say and invites them and their supporters on as guests at a substantially higher ratio than Democrats and/or progressives (seen Noam and/or Katrina anywhere on a mainstream news outlet recently?). Do "socialists" and/or Green Party members get invited on news shows like "Tea Party" people do?

is Ryan talking about? More flailing and failing from the Romney campaign.

4. What is this "Look" phrase all the time from Paul... All the voter is looking for are the details

for his budget that plan to hand over even more tax breaks to the strongest healthiest bank accounts in history and we want to know how he plans to pay for this... But instead he say.... "look" I don't have time.... Or I don't want to get monkish, and a favorite of Paul's that he loves to combine with "look" are his charts... He waves his arms around magically, and if the audience is still awake to inform him that he makes no sense, he has them removed... Because I guess his constitutes are biased too....

has been naked in its' bias toward the Right for decades. No only did he expect it he banked on it.

Neither of the choices in this presidential race are left of center.

The real race is to take back the House and enlarge the real democratic presence in the Senate.

The GOP and their failed Fascist policies must be shown the door.

Chris Wallace tore his ass up. He was asking questions and Ryan was wrinkling his forehead, spewing talking points and he looked like hell.

Joe is gonna tear his ass up in the debate. I mean the dude looked bad on Fox News; he doesn't stand a chance against someone who knows he's full of shit.

I can't normally stomach Fox News on Sunday Morning (I get to yelling at the tube) but it actually looked like an interview with hard hitting questions. That's how poorly Ryan did.
