Scathing blog by 3 AA women titled: Black People don’t OWE Hillary Clinton SHIT!
I'll just leave this bit here. There's much, much more plus video clips at the link.
https://3chicspolitico.com/2016/02/06/black-people-dont-owe-hillary-clinton-shit/ Posted on February 6, 2016 by Ametia *SNIP* Elihaas: “You know fam, that whole fake it and wing it until you can make it way of the too slick… that slick con that folks like the Clintons pull to wangle their way into mostly unearned esteem and inevitability… It’s that slick spin that sells you the Bill Clinton is the ‘greatest’ politician ever (sometimes they qualify that with the word ‘retail’) …That it was all thanks to him and his one speech at the DNC that President Obama was re-elected… It’s that same slick spin that force-feeds the notion of Hillary as the ‘smartest, most accomplished, most qualified and most experienced’ female politician …at first by virtue of having been first lady for 8 years, then because she carpetbagged her way into the Senate via their same strong-arming tactics, and lately, the laughable and blatantly false assertion that President Obama who declined to make her his V.P twice, somehow made her SoS because he ‘trusted’ her ‘judgement’…(It all boils down to that same ‘extraction of concessions’ she repeatedly talked about last night as she and Bernie Sanders went back and forth on normalizing relationships with Iran. How ironic.) And don’t forget that it was *she* who advised President Obama on that very tough decision on whether to take Bin Laden out or not…LOL…For the duration of her time as SoS, President Obama mostly conferred with and relied on his National Security team led by Tom Donilon…It was only after John Kerry took over as SoS, that we saw the natural and seamless coordination of high stakes foreign policy between the President and his SoS return.. It seems some of "us" ARE paying very close attention AND keeping it real. ![]()

I'll believe til my dying day that Prez Obama loathes HRC. She got SoS as Miss unCongeniality prize.
Check this out: She’s very curiously, always needed the assist of unusually high numbers of people helping her out, to get ahead…She needs to be constantly choreographed and propped up and defended and talked-up by every high-profile man, woman and group out there – and still, she mostly fails to impress…
And even with all the expensive advisors and outsized high profile help, and for all the heavy choreography and force-fed projections of ‘superior’ ‘greatness’ that has been spun since time immemorial by their spin masters, courtiers, paid mouthpieces and those paid to herald them… and even with her chest-thumping and loud protestations and rehearsed ‘presidential’ affectations in speech and gestures, she still barely manages a mediocre performance and outing – again and again… |

50. Exactly
She rode Bill's smarts (Georgetown U, Yale Law) and talent (charisma, natural ability to connect with people) to power.
Wellesley, Yale Law School indicate that she was smart, but that's it. After law school, she went to DC to work on the Nixon impeachment committee, but didn't last long in DC because she didn't pass the DC bar. So what did she do then... ran off to Arkansas! She chased after Bill because she recognized his rising star. When she ran for POTUS in 2008, she cited her 20 years of experience. Really?! First Lady of AK for 12 years and FLOTUS for 8 years. And as corporate lawyer at the Rose Law Firm, she relied heavily on Vince Foster. She could never have carpet bagged her way to the NY Senate seat had she not been FLOTUS. And her senate record is what? Aye votes for IWR, the Patriot Act and Bush's bankruptcy bill. We all recall her abysmal management and nasty conduct of her 2008 primary campaign. Frankly, I was appalled that BHO chose her for SOS, but I think he'd been inspired by Lincoln's team of rivals and wanted to keep her busy and away. In so doing, she couldn't be a quasi backbencher sniping at him. In the end, though, she was awful. Honduras, Libya and Syria are a mess. She is nothing without powerful men around or behind her, her experience is largely derived from having married Bill, and her judgment when she has power has been awful. I have always been a Democrat and always voted for the ticket despite such things as Kerry's and Edwards' votes for IWR. In 2008, I had hoped BHO would be more like a 21st century FDR. But he disappointed by selecting former Clintonistas and Wall streeters to cabinet and advisory positions. Now we are expected to anoint HRC. Hell no, she's in it for herself, she plays sexist gender politics, she lies about her alleged record and changes her mind with the political winds, and she is the worst sort of Democrat... a founder of the DLC and a triangulator to her core. I won't hold my nose this go round. We need Bernie! |

She had been punting marriage with Bill for some time, but then failed the bar exam in DC.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillary_Clinton Yes, she probably was following his bright star, but I think she was also running from her own failure...rather than try to pass the exam again, and end up in a better job, she quit and followed Bill and married him. Her heart didn't choose him until things got tough (her easy ride was over) and she didn't want to fight it out. She quit on herself. |

And I am particularly amused by the folks that have crawled out of the woodwork to call bravenak a troll. I'm sure it's a coincidence that the vast majority of these folks were devoted fans of Manny Goldstein who absolutely DELIGHTED in antagonizing and dismissing black folks and women. He'd say something offensive, get called out, apologize -- and then do the same shit again two days later.
Regularly antagonizing disenfranchised minorities with "satire" so dull and unfunny that even Carrot Top would roll his eyes? Wins you the undying affection of tons of DUers. Be a black poster that dares to discuss black opinion that makes a large number of the folks in the afore mentioned group INCREDIBLY uncomfortable because it dashes the notion that they have the first clue what the fuck they're talking about re: racial issues in this country? When Bill Clinton took office in 1992, 845,000 ppl were in prison. When he left there were 1,334,000. Mass incarceration of black people. As an advocate, I can’t say #BlackLivesMatter & then vote for someone whose polices destroyed black families just because they’re a Democrat. Not going to happen! Hillary Clinton lobbied for the 1994 Crime Bill with right wing rhetoric calling black youths predators. We all remember the dog whistles, fairy tales and mocking President from the 08 campaign calling him naive. Great piece. So glad she isn't fooling everyone!! |

Anyhow, and even if he did, I hear some Black citizens saying Bernie's the lesser of two evils. I didn't see an endorsement of him at that website, not that there isn't one somewhere in there. I'm not black, those three women are. They've tallied it up and laid it out as regards the Clintons, and I saw no endorsement of Sanders.
Sanders denounced the bill in 1994. He called it a punishment-of-the-poor bill. Clinton railed against "super-predators." Too bad she doesn't think that way about the Wall Street predators. He voted for it because it contained a provision of the Violence Against Women Act. The funds were urgently needed. Again, that is how it works with bills. You may continue being obtuse for all the good it will do you. http://www.democraticunderground.com/12511199494 |

It always seemed to me that Obama made her SOS in the name of keep your enemies close (put her in the Cabinet) but make sure they're busy and out of a lot. It was a way to help her save face after losing to him, and to make peace with the DNC etc. Well, TaNehesi Coates just endorsed Bernie in the last week. 49. I thought this part was good..
It’s that perception that assumes Hillary ‘accomplished’ and ‘qualified’ – and yet have people ‘surprised’ that for all the retroactive and automatic projection of smart and high-flying, she actually flunked the D.C bar exam, and only managed to pass the bar in Arkansas. She had no job offers in Arkansas – none – and only got hired by the University of Arkansas Law School at Fayetteville because Bill was already teaching there. She was not hired at the prestigious Rose Law Firm, until Bill became Arkansas Attorney General – and she was made a partner only after Bill was elected Arkansas Governor.
