I don't know how well this man will be received if he threatened to run as an independent just a few months ago.

He knows this. He knows he has no chance. He's just pissed and disappointed that he didn't do better and wants to blame everyone and everything except for himself.

(7,830 posts)Bernie's popularity is because of who he is, and he isn't the establishment. He isn't part of the problem. He wants the US to be free of Moneyed Influence running things & the people getting the shaft...
Hillary is high ranking establishment & we'd not chose another establishment candidate simply because he ranks lower, & isn't Hillary.
This is about ending the Status Quo.
And I'd like it to end our foreign policy status quo as well. Though that might be a pipe dream. It certainly couldn't happen with a "president webb." (shudder)
