Thank you, Bernie!

I really enjoyed tonight's debate. I think that Bernie Sanders had his best performance to date. It seems to be that he is becoming a stronger candidate, and the timing couldn't be better.

My favorite part was when he talked about Henry Kissinger. That was wonderful. The second-best thing was when he said that we shouldn't insult the American public's intelligence, by pretending that campaign contributions from billionaires and multi-national corporations are anything but influence-buying.

I hope that everyone enjoyed the debate!

It was noticeably a Hillary Clinton Crowd. The mediators seemed to be pro Hillary as well. If you DVR'd the debate, take count of the number of times Bernie was halted before rebuttal, or a station break vs. the number of times Hillary Clinton was. It was very obvious.

As stated in previous posts (by me)... Go Bernie!!!

is a lot of "I, I, I." She's proud of her accomplishments, which is to be expected, but when she is constantly touting them, she begins to sound haughty and arrogant, kind of condescending. And before anyone jumps on me for sexism, I would say the same thing about a male politician in a similar circumstance.

Bernie mostly says "we," which makes me, at least, feel acknowledged, like we're in this together. I like that.

I realize that this is just a stylistic difference in their speech patterns probably, but if I were Hillary's campaign, I would encourage her to be more inclusive with her word choices and body language. For me, at least, she does not connect.

was one Bernie walked through without hesitation. I hope that those who lack historical knowledge of Kissinger's crimes will bother to study up. Beside that, he is also just a nasty human.

I think that Bernie gets stronger with each debate, though today I felt he was physically under the weather with either fatigue or a cold, both would be understandable. I cannot imagine the rigors of a campaign.
I wish there were a way to give some rest to the weary, all of them, really.

I think this is the first debate where he was taken fully seriously by his opponent, THANK YOU New Hampshire, and in the absence of Mrs. Clinton's laughs and derision it was a fully engaged encounter.

I was struck by her puffy, pasty-looking face, and pin-pointy eyes; also ramrod back and odd quirky way she moved her head, like she could barely hold herself together physically.

I think she may under serious stress--perhaps both physically and as to the way her campaign is going.

As for Bernie, I was trying to think of a way to get "Throat Coat Tea" to Bernie. It would save his throat! It's made by Traditional Medicinals, and can be obtained on Amazon.

I mentioned this elsewhere, and someone suggested I post it at reddit, cuz some of his staff may watch that site. I went through all the rigmarole of signing up there, posted this info, but, a) I don't know what happened to my post (don't understand how the site works); and b) somebody replied sarcastically (like I was doing an ad for that company, which I wasn't--I have nothing to do with the company whatever; don't even know where they are). The youngsters over there don't realize that us oldsters have parts that break down with overuse and need extra boosts of healing or energy.

I may end up just mailing some of this wonderful throat tea to his P.O. Box in Burlingame, but I'm afraid I may next find a Secret Service agent at my door with "questions." I doubt they would let him use a tea that was sent in the mail. What should I do? THIS TEA WILL SOLVE HIS TIRED THROAT PROBLEM! It's a wonderful, mild, soothing, organic herbal tea. It was hard to get for a long time in local stores, but now they seem to have better distribution, and I buy it locally. But I looked it up and they have it at Amazon now, too.

Any ideas?

Bernie is on message, Clinton all over the place... My open letter to the people of South Carolina, when you get in the privacy of the voting booth please remember that this election is probably the most important in our lifetimes, we have an opportunity for real change and an opportunity to win the GE. Remember one of our candidates is completely baggage free and the other is bringing tons of baggage to a general election where she will be put under the spotlight by unforgiving rightwing attacks, remember that you cannot win elections simply with a single party support you must pull independents to your cause, one of our candidates can speak about the issues that we care about the other will be defending their record and trying to stay out of jail, you only have one opportunity so make it count.

Agree with you I'm glad he brought up Henry Kissinger. That was powerful, at least for us older folks. At the end of the last debate, my SO was appalled that she mentioned Kissinger. "Kissinger? She really said that name???"

This debate also solidified my desire that Hillary NOT be Commander in Chief. She really did scare me that she would be too eager to go to war. She kept saying the words "Commander in Chief," it made me feel she couldn't wait to get her fingers on the button.

Got any ideas how to get "Throat Coat Tea" (Traditional Medicinals) to Bernie? He's obviously been giving too many speeches and talking too much. Throat is under strain. Got to save his throat. This tea would help a lot.

I don't know what I'd do for Hillary. Her problems are profound. His problem is just an older throat getting overused. It doesn't seem to bother him. But he could suffer loss of voice and have to take time off from speaking when he can't do that. But Hillary, I don't know. I feel like she's wound much too tight and may just go spinning into outer space one of these days. She needs to retire from public life. That was my feeling. It's hard to guess whatall's going on with her. Family getting ravaged by the campaign? Bill sick? Fear of investigation of the Clinton Foundation? Firing/replacing staff? Campaign downturn? I don't think it's just the latter. It could be combo of all. But I thought she looked terrible tonight, like a zombie. Heavy makeup covering something up. Puffy, pasty face. Small eyes. Rigid posture. Her brain's still clicking, and she speaks well (articulately, though I don't like her voice). Something's wrong.

Bernie leveled the Kissinger blow and WS money very well.

I loved the,...do not insult the intelligence of the American people, they're not dumb.

The look on her face was amazing. It appeared she felt she would shut him up
using Obama as her airbag. Why she or her team thought that would
work tells me they don't understand what Americans are well aware of
regarding the influence of money. This campaign is not about Obama
and yet she sounded like a 4th grader with faux outrage, don't insult
my Obama...the South Carolina shout out was also obvious and cynical
as well.

Her weak response that she is not a one issue candidate is laughable
as anyone with half a brain knows our entire economy and our foreign
policies are directly related to the investment class...not a minor
issue and that corruption seeps into our society in numerous ways.

Excellent debate, and I remain hopeful for Bernie.
