(23,664 posts)I had to quit listening to that show after it turned into three hours of Hillary worship. Pretty sad, because it used to be a decent show.

(11,366 posts)I just listen to Bill Press on my morning commute, the first bit of Thom Hartmann at lunch and then the rest of the reply of Hartmann on my evening commute. Can't do Steph anymore.

(10,856 posts)She's always been pretty far left. I would think she would espouse a lot of Bernies views even if she likes Hillary more personally or believes Hillary is more electable.

(14,524 posts)Her condescending laughy/mumbling "But I love Bernie too" crap has removed her from my listen to list.
She's deep into a personality crush. None for me, thanks.

(12,958 posts)It was three hours of wallowing in Ken Starr talking points.

I assume someone who talks about politics on the tv or radio?

(10,856 posts)But, then when Current TV went off the air, I couldn't get it anymore.
And. For some reason, I can't access it on her web site.
She used to make me laugh and had a lot of good guests.

(12,804 posts)Jim Ward, voice impersonator extraordinaire, is back and I love his voice impressions, so I can stomach her pro-Hillary stance as long as Jim is there to do voice impersonations.

(12,958 posts)Then she became obsessed with Hillary in 08 and I haven't listened since.

(15,435 posts)leaning Bernie. I meant regular guests. She's getting more and more calls now supporting Bernie too. I listen to every day, or if I miss will watch her on ROKU.
She does have one person "stuttering John" who stands with Hillary.
She's trying very hard to be fair saying that BOTH she and Thom Hartmann will vote & support Bernie. But even many of her guest have been leaning Bernie, Rude Pundit included.

(19,781 posts)The show overall isn't tilted heavily to Hillary.

(7,286 posts)Funny all the "I stop listening to her" replies
How would one know what's going on?

(15,435 posts)on and they discussed it. FSTV needs viewers AND supporters so they remain viable. ON THE OTHER SIDE, just think about how many viewers they have and how many RIGHT WING shows they actually have. There are very few that even promote our candidates so I thought I would point this out. Also RT is another great outlet and Thom also has a show on called The Big Picture.
We can't stomp our feet and do the "stop watching" because I HAVE noticed more Bernie supporters calling in. On the negative side for Stephanie there are times she misses a few points. The other day she was talking about Rachel Maddows's comments about how there were 40,000 less Democratic voters who turned out to vote. What BOTH she and Rachel didn't say was that Bernie got 151,000 votes, more than ANY other voter ever in that state. What's telling about this is probably MANY Independents and perhaps Repukes actually voted for Bernie. Remember Reagan Democrats???
I have to add that way, way there were fewer Americans in the country. With Obama & Clinton there might have been 230 million, now we are reaching at least 350 million, still the comparison wasn't made AND Rachel should have reported this because I'm sure she has this information.
Then this morning Stephanie is unaware of what Repukes are doing during the time Congress and how the Senate is actually Recessed, but then they have several Senators who gavel back in so it then isn't actually recessed. Somebody just corrected her as I'm writing this. So, yes she supports Hillary, but I can name four of her regular guests say they are either FOR Bernie or leaning Bernie, Carlos Alez Roquie (sp) "Coffee With Rocky," her good friend Monique Marvez, and Carol Burnett's daughter Jody Hamilton, John Fuglesang, and even and (sorry I can't remember her name right now) the woman who talks about ACA so much and then Jim Ward one of the original Mooks, who also supports Bernie. One more thing, there are also people calling in who keep giving her more facts she may not be aware of regarding Bernie. She is being pressured in some ways.
Just a few things you might want to think about before you completely stop watching. John Fuglesang is definitely FOR Bernie and that ain't chicken feed. So just think about it.

(7,286 posts)The first segment was spent mocking points of view like you see in this thread. Her guest, Jody Hamilton a BS supporter, and Stephanie read some hate mail they both got from listeners or viewers...it was damned funny. People ripping them both and they just laugh it off. I love that attitude. People are allowed to have other points of view, y'all.
Its a frickin' comedy show for cripes sake, everyone needs to lighten up a little bit.
The ACA lady is nurse Jackie Sheckner, BTW. Carlos is a funny guy, the segment is Coffee with Carlos

1964 Republican presidential ticket: Goldwater / Miller. That Miller is Stephanie's father.
Hillary Rodham supported that ticket in 1964.
William Edward Miller was a New York politician. He was the Republican Party nominee for Vice President of the United States in the 1964 election. He was the only Catholic vice presidential nominee of the Republican Party until Paul Ryan in 2012.
Born: March 22, 1914, Lockport, NY
Died: June 24, 1983, Buffalo, NY
Party: Republican Party
Children: Stephanie Miller
Education: University of Notre Dame, Albany Law School

(10,856 posts)I've heard this term mentioned in regard to Hillary.
But, she couldn't have been very old when Goldwater ran against Johnson.
Was she working in Goldwaters campaign as a student or something?
And, when did Hillary switch from being a Republican to a Democrat?

(26,272 posts)Not that I necessarily have a problem with that.
But yeah Steph's dad ran on the Goldwater ticket.
Funtatlaguy
(10,856 posts)StephNie Millers Dad was Goldwaters VP running mate.
Not Hillarys Dad.
Maybe you knew that and I'm just not understanding your post.
Anyway, I now get it.
Hillary was a College Republican and later changed to a Democrat.

(15,435 posts)thinking we were still talking about Stephanie, but I see it Stephanie was only 3 at the time.
Got it... thanks.

(1,735 posts)except for the fact Hillary was 20 or so and in college. Stephanie was 3. Ha so silly. This bashing has reached the point of absurdity.

(1,586 posts)she (Hillary) was 15 or 16.
Just pointing out the connection, not intended to bash anyone. Sorry you see it that way.

(1,735 posts)then we can chill and love one another again. P.S. See, Hillary finally got some decent education in college and became a Democrat.

(20,876 posts)She really makes an effort to give Bernie and Hillary equal time. She has said her first choice is Hillary but would vote for Bernie if he is the nominee.
I am a first Bernie supporter but would vote for Hillary as nominee who us better than any republican.
Too bad you stopped listening I love listening to humor in the morning when I get ready for work. Humor and laughter are great stress relievers.

(15,691 posts)but she's not opposed to Bernie, either. She's had him on her show a number of times in the past.
She does seem to have a lot of hate directed her way from insufferable Berniacs these days. But it's still a fun show to listen to.
