Larry Sanders did not call Bill Clinton a rapist, the NY Post is tabloid trash.

He was faulting the media for their coverage of the Clintons, here is the original article:

“The media have a lot to answer for, I think, you don’t get that detailed discussion. You get: ‘Is Hillary a nice person? Is Bill really such a terrible rapist or is he a nice rapist?’ It’s at that level the discussion—so you can imagine that people could have a pleasant opinion but not based on the actual policies.”

Larry is at pains to point out that they have real respect for Hillary. (The Clinton campaign did not respond to a request for comment.)

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/02/19/bernie-sanders-s-brother-he-backs-class-warfare-bill-clinton-was-worse-than-bush.html

The Post edited the comment, this is how they "reported" it:

“Is Bill really such a terrible rapist — or is he a nice rapist?” Larry Sanders told The Daily Beast, asking the question he said is on most people’s minds when it comes to the former president, whose wife, Hillary, is in a showdown with Bernie Sanders for the Democratic presidential nomination.

This kind of right wing trash doesn't belong here, it smears both Bill Clinton and Larry Sanders.

I think that going to the point of trying to deceive voters shows some actual desperation. And of course, Clinton is still set to prevail--it's her nomination to lose. But if she wins, she's increasingly looking like she'll be a very lonely person. I think she should speak forcefully about what some of her surrogates are doing, but I'll freely admit that her actions so far have only helped my candidate.
