Perry's what's out -Santorum's what's in for 2012 with "Christian Conservatives."

Perry was just shunned for being too stupid by the "Christian Conservatives." Yes, you read that correctly. He's too stupid for the far RW Christian extremist. Wow. You know that one's gotta sting.

After dissing Perry for his "stumbles" and being unelectable they then went on to vote overwhelmingly to support Santorum. Salt meet wound.

Christian conservative leaders meeting in Gov. Rick Perry’s home state Friday and Saturday reached a “strong consensus” to support former U.S. Senate candidate Rick Santorum, the Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins said.

The group that met at former state appeals court judge Paul Pressler’s ranch in Brenham included about 150 conservative leaders, business people and political activists, Perkins said in a conference call with reporters.

Asked what the main concern was about Perry, Perkins said he “fits the bill” as far as his record, but that electability was seen as a problem.

“The concern was, who did have the best chance of winning the nomination and the general election. There was some concern because of the stumbles that he had getting into the race that those were just going to be too hard to overcome,” he said.

I'm still wondering just who exactly ever thought it would be a good idea to run this clown?

Being as Gingrich already had some momentum in SC before this, his shot at stopping Mittens is now going to be severely blunted. Leave it to the fundies to keep reloading once they find they have a circular firing squad.

Rather than admit that they screwed the pooch with this "endorsement", they will simply not vote for Romney in the general, and we win.

Mr. Frothy probably hasn't seen it yet, despite the fact that the only thing he seems to know about is gay sex. He doesn't have a flying fuck of a clue about anything else.

This is the second election where they failed to get behind one candidate and allowed the "establishment" candidate to win the nomination. Their egos and arrogance has cost them a chance to put forward a strong candidate and this "come to Jesus" moment should have happened three months ago.

Frothy won by default...Parry (the "a" for absent-minded) is just too plain stupid and even those maroons know it. Gnewt has more baggage than American Tourister and that Barbie-doll wife of his (a constant reminder of his infidelity) makes everyone's skin crawl. So who else? Bachmann's back in the closet and they surely won't support the Mormons. That leaves Rectorum...and even then he's a "papist" isnt he? But then you take what you can get.

Other than a free lunch...this "get-together" means zero...
