Tired of updating this thing and the numbers seem like they are going to stick.
Cheers for Hillary!

(27,762 posts)It's apparently going to flip the entire election scenario in Massachusetts.
no doubt!

(16,399 posts)It's one of those dreaded "urban" areas Sanders fans bemoan.

Whenever you read "Clinton" do you always go into a defensive posture?
Nixon Plumbers did that, GW Bush supporters were always on the defensive.e

(6,994 posts)Bill Clinton and he thinks he "is"above the law. He should be charged and made to appear in court
And that is the definition of "is"

(36,437 posts)Boston metro's in.
I think Bernie will flip that exactly: 52-47.
Codeine
(25,586 posts)He'll win and take a couple more delegates, but not a big haul.
alcibiades_mystery
(36,437 posts)63% in Newtown with all precincts counted. That's a surprise.

(36,437 posts)What's your source? I'm using NY Times live version.
Clinton is definitely overperforming in Boston metro. She's hitting 60+ percent in many of those areas.

(9,905 posts)This is typical of watching MA returns.
alcibiades_mystery
(36,437 posts)There's still a lot of likely Clinton vote out there, and she has a 29,000 vote lead. It's going to be tight. She's also winning and making a contest of the odd Western Mass areas, and overperforming in Boston metro.
Cobalt Violet
(9,905 posts)Worcester is the only city left uncounted it looks like. Most of the wealthy burbs have been counted already. The rest looks pretty blue collar to me.
alcibiades_mystery
(36,437 posts)Not sure there's enough vote/lead-in-vote out there to overcome it.
Maybe.
Will be fun.
Cobalt Violet
(9,905 posts)I think it will end up like the exit poll.
alcibiades_mystery
(36,437 posts)It's a 3 point spread right now with 71% in: 25,000 vote spread.
alcibiades_mystery
(36,437 posts)With about 500 precincts out there. You may be right!
alcibiades_mystery
(36,437 posts)Unless they have very solid exit polling out of Wuh-sta.

(9,841 posts)If that's the case Bernie's situation is hopeless if he cant win a state like MA. What states are he going to win to close the gap?

This will not be a blowout for either one.
DCBob
(24,689 posts)No blowout but a huge win for Hillary if she wins given many thought Bernie would do well in MA.
reformist2
(9,841 posts)DCBob
(24,689 posts)But if he intends on winning this thing he needs to win states like MA and win in a fairly big way to make up losses in other states.

Barack_America
(28,876 posts)It seems a bit ridiculous that we are all here sweating what is essentially a draw.
Additionally, Dems have 2-fold lead over the GOP vote tally, which is refreshing.
Codeine
(25,586 posts)At this point draws don't matter. With her current margin a tie is as good as win.

(74 posts)I'm calling it for Bernie in a squeaker, split delegates, call it a night.
P.S. All Clinton voters in MA should be DQ'ed for cheating, and should thank Bill Clinton for his illegal electioneering.
