I wunder if all of the push of the idea the the race is over now and Hillary has it in the bag..

...is because Hillary's funds are running low (so low she has to hold a fund raisers with a lobbyist for the NRA). Since Hillary may have maxed out her donors she may not have enough funds to go the distance against Bernie's army of people power that is fueling his run.

Once again, I question who really wants a coronation of their candidate....

like the last time that people have to raise money for just because she didn't know when to quit.

But completely disingenuous. Most donors probably gave less than $100, but most of her donor DOLLARS (which is what matters) likely come from large contributors.

13. It's math

It was math with Obama, and it's math again. It's even math, alas, with the Republican primary right now.

A substantial lead in pledged delegates from the early states becomes increasingly hard to overcome, unless you win a lot of later states by extremely large margins, not just by 10 or 15 points. It could happen, so the race should continue. Until, that is, one of the candidates gets to 2382 pledged delegates. Then it should stop.

HRC has access to all the funding she will need. This is likely more about discouraging people from donating to and showing up for Sanders.
