An exercise.

Given the vitriol around here of late, I was thinking it might be nice to try an exercise. We have to reunify, folks, or we're gonna end up with President Trump, and that cannot be allowed. Bashing the shit out of each other, and each other's candidate of preference, is not helping anyone except the GOP.

SO -- Extol what you like/love/admire about the candidate you support, WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT THE OTHER CANDIDATE. Let's see what kind of awesome we're actually running in this election, yeah?

I support Bernie because I saw what he did for Burlington; I agree with his policy positions about health care, money in politics, & those who struggle in our society; I trust him not to cave to special interests; I think he could do the job and do it well.

We won't get Prez Trump, or Prez Clinton, or Prez Sanders, because of posting habits on a message board.

I like the bashing;makes DU fun.

What we do here, others do elsewhere. If the party remains splintered post-primary, the country is screwed.

And I hate the bashing. Makes my stomach hurt, the inane, pointless nastiness that goes on between people who supposedly are on the same political side.

so for years I have checked everyones profiles to see what groups they are in .I am in the Bernie group not in the Hillary group which is confusing because we are all hopefully in the Democratic group .I guess we will have to live with progress even though we all call ourselves progressives we want to conserve certain parts of the past .This is the difference between us because none of us know the future .
