NRA tweets support for Bernie Sanders .

The National Rifle Association is tweeting its support for comments by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) at Sunday's debate.

The NRA tweeted Monday that Sanders was “spot-on” during the debate when he defended his vote for legislation that would hold gun manufacturers liable for shootings.

and I'm familiar with the arguments. It's been clear to me since the first debate that he was advancing their position. Now they confirm it.

Why is he falling back to his original position? Did he forget that he changed his mind?

But this position from Clinton that manufacturers and sellers should be held accountable for someone using a weapon to commit a crime, would never pass in court.

Given that argument, someone can sue any manufacturer of a product used to commit a crime.

there is no reason to believe that the Democratic party will turn into the party of gun control - at least in terms of actually doing anything.
