that 'dishonesty' is a trademark quality not exclusive to any one group...

I would think there is plenty of data on that...

what would one consider 'hostile, aggressive extremism...' that would be greater than war?

some groups are dishonest as an indispensable working mode. The far right is one. Only think of what the typical tea-partier type believes of left-wing politics or people. They'd need sedation and professional counseling to get through it if somehow they were forced to recognize the world for what it is.

I watch folks here celebrate Reagan and what I see are people mourning for ghouls that killed all my friends and mentors and has yet to so much as acknowledge that crime.

The conservatives that resisted LGBT rights were both Republicans and Democrats, the Democrats being the minds we could change and the politics we could force. The conservatives in this Party are not better than those in the other, they are just not in as much power because the rest of us check their agenda.

If eligible voters actually voted, the idiots would not ever get in office.
If people don't vote, it opens the door for crooks and liars.

A bunch of people were put in jail during the savings and loan crisis - and they were simply replaced by a new set of crooks. If the government doesn't enforce the laws and regulations, then the law doesn't matter.

Right now, people don't elect a Congress that will enforce the laws.

has this Congress held that up??? Are there a bunch of appointments unfilled?

Yes, the ones you elect have an effect on enforcement of laws and regulations. Congress is the biggest hold up, in addition to state officials.

That the voters have no power to change.

Here, it's considered the fault of the voters for not coming out to vote more for the people who are screwing them. That's not even covering the subject of the more and more blatant election fraud.

But the facts scream at us- wherever they were reined it, things got better for everyone, and quickly. Every place they were allowed to suck up more wealth and power, things got worse.

Hopefully more powerful popular revolts coming.

Because this will happen again. And what will the people do if they are forced to be on the hook again? They cannot continue to do this to the people. Eventually the people will stand up and refuse to take anymore. They will revolt at some point.
