Related: About this forumHillary Clinton's distortions
I think it's very important that you read what The Washington Post wrote yesterday about Hillary Clinton's distortions:
"But it's striking that, as Clinton has doubled down on the attacks, she has with some regularity played pretty fast and loose with the facts.
"She'll take a vote Sanders has made during his 25 years in Congress and gloss over most, if not all, of the details about it. The result is a carefully worded insinuation or even outright accusation that Sanders has voted against his base on everything from immigration to the auto bailout to fossil fuels."

(121 posts)What do you think the republicans would do to Bernie this fall if he were to somehow win the nomination? They rarely say a WORD about him now because they're keeping their powder dry before they try and turn him into their typical distorted view of a Muskie-crying, McGovern-style communist. Dukakis polled well against the republicans at this point in 88 as well..... Then they unleashed the dogs of war against him and he never recovered.

(1,235 posts)The republicans will be bigger liars so we should all praise Hillary's dishonesty?
Okay, so tell me again what makes Democrats better than Republicans?

(20,582 posts)but so far he's been held back by respect for her, imo.
He will have no problem with republicans. Bernie is tough, smart and genuine. He doesn't need to stall or make up outlandish lies - and truth resonates with most people better than anything. They will have to resort to their crazy antics to even keep up with him and I think people on both sides are really sick of seeing that. They want real and honest answers.
