(14,177 posts)I have to wonder if it is still true after she has blatantly lied on every debate stage and she lies daily about his record.

(1,400 posts)It's the truth that sounds crazy.....
No one is used to hearing it, and it may take years to sink in.
In many cases reality does matter, but not always.

(8,976 posts)But I checked the view counts on this thread and then the thread posted ahead and behind it...Counts were 300+ for this, 125 for the prior thread and 111 for the following thread.
It tells me that Bernie lying would be HUGE news and both Bernie and Hillary supporters were eager to swamp the thread.
ish of the hammer
(444 posts)so far, all I've seen is finger waving = sexism
and being arrested protesting for equal rights = racism
so yeah, i was looking, I bet the Clinton supporters were pretty disappointed.

(2,212 posts)I have spent a lot of time online attempting to reason with and debate climate change skeptics. And in the world of bulletin boards and forums, these kinds of posts backfire. About 80% of the people who read that headline will not click your link. This means that you are actually promoting a new meme, namely, that "I read yesterday on a political news website that Bernie Sanders has been caught in a lie. So yeah, maybe cracks are starting to appear in his facade. Hmmmm."
The climate change equivalent to this post would read: "Scientists actually DID fudge the temperature records!" The minority of websurfers who open the link would then read, "In the dreams of Sen. James Inhofe."
If you want further evidence that these types of posts are counterproductive, Google the statement "Bernie Sanders caught in a lie." Your post here appears at the top of the page as the fifth return.
Please reconsider the net effect of these types of posts. Thanks.

If you want to drive traffic to your threads, could you please just include the word SEX in the headline?
Most (?) of us won't mind such a minor bait-and-switch.
