2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHillary very narrowly lost MI, and no one went paranoid about "rigged elections" and all the rest.
Enough of the paranoia. It is nonsense, and it rears its goofy head all too often from the Bernie side. Hillary lost MI very narrowly but fair and square because it was an open primary and Bernie did well with Indies and some R's there (while Hillary won registered Dems by 18 points). It was no mystery at all, and no one on Hillary's side whined and moaned about "fraud" and "rigged elections" and "dirty tricks" or "rigged voting machines" and all the rest of that nonsensical paranoid delusional malarkey. Already we see such ridiculous accusations starting up against Hillary ahead of tomorrow's primaries. This delusional foolishness really needs to stop. It is a trip to SillyLand and nothing more.
You are back. I was just thinking earlier I don't laugh enough at DU. But along comes this gem. Bravo. You are right. Maybe it's because Jane Sanders wasn't inside voting stations campaigning. Maybe that's why there was no protest. Idk

(8,879 posts)is in for Bernie is beyond fucking laughable. It would be sad and paranoid to see it that way. Clinton has EVERY institutional advantage. EVERY ONE! Bernie's advantage is of his making alone. He has convinced us he is the right guy for the job despite the constant reminders of Clinton's inevitability. Bernie has received very little help except from we the people. It is very believable, especially in light of all there is to lose for the powers that be that there could be a a little nudge in the right direction toward Clinton. Just try to deny reality. It shows us just exactly who is making their home in SillyLand.

(40,168 posts)Save the Bernie supporter bashing until after all the votes are tallied tomorrow. Then we'll know who won and who lost.
Nice preempitive digs, though.

There will be voter irregularities in all states Clinton wins tomorrow and great displays of democracy in the state(s) Sanders wins.

(1,301 posts)Now, who does Bernie have behind him in the establishment, that would be willing or capable of rigging the elections in his favor?

The Des Moines Register endorsed Hillary, but put out an editorial saying the caucuses smelled.

Try selling your massively false equivalency to people who can't think or read. Who knows? Maybe you'll get lucky.
