At least in Idaho - which must be a tough state to predict.

It will be interesting to see what happens today - lots of pundits have been off on quite a few states to this point.

No one is perfect but I hold our record up to anyone, starting with calling Cruz to win Iowa which Nate got wrong and so did many others.

You are correct, some surprises -- but mostly not, especially with big primaries - Michigan aside!

I defer to nobody in my reliance on quantitative analysis but I would be less than candid if I didn't concede the Michigan polling debacle has given me pause.

OTOH, I would like to think it was a black swan event. I am not going to recommend taking up smoking because Uncle Joe who smoked four packs of cigarettes a day lived to be ninety when his life was taken by being hit by a car.
