Our first Exit Poll out of IL is in: 3rd Graders

Time to take a break from the loyalty oaths, and falling on swords for the all important first exit poll of the day out of Illinois...

3rd Grade Results

Here's the demo...

13 girls
14 boys
Age range, 8-9.

Girls: pretty sure they all went Hillary (he's 9, we have to go with pretty sures)
Boys: Definitely Bernie. He's pretty sure.

He's pretty sure it's Bernie that won, but it looks like a nail biter. I think the delegates are going to be split on this one.

* When asked why the girls chose Hillary, it was because she was a girl.

* When asked why Bernie was chosen. They liked him, and some mentioned their parent voted for him.

* When asked about Kasisch, Rubio, Cruz & Trump - I was interrupted and told, "No. No republicans." Okay, then. LOL.

Obviously my kid is milking the tax payer in one of those free public school liberal, lefty, socialist, commie, marxist, democratic classrooms. Where all they do is program our kids to love, be kind, and share their lunch.

Also, this is VERY important... In AT Math today, they studied brackets. I don't follow sports, so I have no clue what he was talking about, except this. These are crazy smart little kids, and his team decided go with North Carolina. If that makes sense to you, then fantastic.

Okay, everyone back to your regularly scheduled GDPing.

It was certainly an eye-opener to me when all my classmates chose Nixon.
At least we voted anonymously, so they didn't know I was the odd kid out.

Getting the kids to pay attention ten years before they'll be old enough to vote themselves is, in my opinion, a very good thing to do.

We actually had our son sit with us through some of the Republican Debates as well. But it got a bit out of hand, and we told him he could go play.

Nice to hear they're involved. I'm afraid here in Georgia Hillary and Bernie would only be mentioned in the same breath with "get thee away," but I'll ask my grandson about it.

narrowed down to 32 then the sweet 16 then 8 teams then the final four and finally the national championship with the last two remaining teams.

At the beginning of the tournament each of the 64 teams is assigned a region to play in and those regions consist of brackets.

Like this.

Most all of these games take place an March and they call it "March Madness."

Thanks for sharing, Kittycat.

Brats. Really, I don't remember if anyone agreed with me. I just remember sitting on top of the monkey bars with my arms crossed, arguing that he was better. No idea why. LOL.

Bernie will take $90 back in taxes whereas Hillary will only take $42.

Then see what happens.

If you really want to go there, I will share how our area was once one of the fastest growing in the nation, and became the hardest hit by the crash. In addition, our taxes are now among some of the highest in the nation - without even remotely the return on our investment as a result. So you'll have to excuse me if I'm a bit cynical of a back-flipping Corporatist that got rich off of public service, while families out here suffered. But hey, goldman sachs - rah-rah, right?
