not exactly a valid statistical analysis by any measure...

(24,692 posts)are declared republicans and independents, as a Bernie supporter I would point out that he was winning the party's liberal base while Hillary was winning the 'moderate' crossover vote.
I think Bernie's appeal to crossover voters is real and important but, if the shoe were on the other foot, my view of the significance of the party base voters vs crossover voters would probably be different.
