Ohio is the only surprise tonight. And it's that indys took the Repug ballot to vote for Kasich.

As a Bernie supporter, obviously that's not the outcome I wanted to see. But considering that Kasich is Ohio's favorite son, it does make perfect sense (in hindsight) that most independent voters would take the Republican ballot to vote for Kasich. Since they cannot vote in two primaries, it means Bernie didn't benefit from the independents. And so Ohio became just another "closed" primary, with the usual results.

To be honest, it's not as big a setback as it may seem.

Also, the night is still young. Bernie may yet pull off an upset in Illinois or Missouri, which would end the evening on a good note.

In any case, I'm still on the Bernie train, all the way to the convention!!!

4. They had a massive scare campaign going door to door, as if Kasich stands a chance.

I think he will be getting the big money now. Kasich was a real scumbag when he was a congressman.

5. They can't stop Trump. Oddly, all the Repug establishment did is deny Bernie a win in Ohio.

Hillary really should thank them for that. (She probably already has, privately.)

...with wide victories in Fla and NC, Hillary is goung to dominate with delegates making those post ST races for Sanders not only do or die, but necessary for him to win impossible margins in ALL of those contests.

9. To some degree yes, but Bernie's campaign is in a fine place, he's now getting 40%+ all over now.

If he can bump up his numbers another 5-10% in the next month, he'll win. Bernie's campaign was always a come-from-behind-longshot, but he's still on target to pull it off, imo.
