Some Clinton supporters crossed over to vote against Trump. I made calls to Missouri where people told me they intended to do that, although they wanted Hillary to be president. I know some of that happened in MN as well, probably lots of places.

Florida - 246 delegates, Clinton 65 - Sanders 33 -> Clinton gets 160, Sanders 82

North Carolina - 121 delegates, Clinton 55 - Sanders 40 -> Clinton gets 67, Sanders 49

Ohio - 160 delegates, Clinton 57 - Sanders 42 -> Clinton gets 92, Sanders 68

Illinois - 182 delegates. Clinton is currently leading 52 to 47 and may win it as the MSNBC reporting on the remaining counties and votes favor Clinton for the most part.

Missouri - 84 delegates. Sanders leading 51 to 48.


Even if Bernie Sanders wins Illinois and Missouri, it will be only by a few points or so, thus the delegates will be nearly split.

Worst case, Hillary extends her lead even further with 3 big states won. 319 vs 199 so far. 120 more delegates for Clinton than Sanders. Her lead will be about 340 delegates, without the superdelegates. That's the worst case.

Better case, Hillary has a good shot at winning Illinois. If the 52 - 47 split holds, it will be 95 delegates for Clinton versus 86 for Sanders. Another 9 delegates, and possibly that last one. Then the lead will be around 350 delegates.

Best case, she wins Illinois and Missouri, and will extend the lead even further.

but I had let myself think it would be better than this. I should stop doing that.

I am still simply happy as can be to have been able to vote for Bernie. Whatever happens I finally had a vote in my state count. Finally I hope to have a Democrat I can actually vote for rather than holding my nose to cast the vote. It has been since Carter I think...yes unless I wrote in it has been since Carter.
