Something wonderful happened tonight we all can agree on:
anita alvarez lost to Kim Foxx as Illinois States Attorney
anita alvarez is a horror show. She does not prosecute police officers.
But, she did get Chicago a nickname "The false confession capital". She gets a lot of innocent people to confess to crimes they did not commit.
Laquon McDonald's case was what did her in waiting an entire year to prosecute the cop and it only happened because the courts forced her to release the video.
Here is the 60 Minutes segment that is chilling about her:
Kim Foxx grew up in the Chicago housing projects and became a lawyer and has been working on legal justice reform especially regarding racial injustice.
It is very exciting!
But, I still feel crappy about Bernie's losses.
