2016 Postmortem

Yes, I'm a Bernie supporter. What of it? But I understand one thing clearly:
Bernie Sanders has been gunning for the White House ever since at least April 30 of last year.
Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, has been gunning for the White House ever since Election Night of 2012. She's been strengthening her networks, making new connections, and hopefully taking a good long look at what went wrong in 2008. But she's been working on this, public statements to the contrary aside, for a lot longer than Bernie has.
Whichever one wins gets my vote in November. Period. End of fucking story. I don't have to bring up Trump or Cruz or whomever to understand this is the way of things.
That said, both candidates deserve respect for keeping the debates largely on the issues.

(9,527 posts)Neither of the Democratic candidates (or even the ones who already dropped out) have mentioned each other's genitals. So that's a plus.
