Nobody said this would be easy.

Sanders is taking on the ENTIRE POLITICAL ESTABLISHMENT of this nation. That isn't just some slogan on CSI:Miami. It means that the Hillary campaign is imitating the cop in the Professional.

"Send everyone..."

And they did. Politically, Sanders is Leonidas facing down the Persian empire. This nation is FULL of people who benefit from the "way things are" or delude themselves that they are. WE are the people Carlin was talking about in his video. It is a private club and we ain't invited.

It saddens me to hear voters talk about slinking away into the night now that HRC has more or less defeated the campaign and won the nomination. It saddens me because it is disheartening to realize that a lot of our fellow americans have swallowed the KoolAid and, at times like that, it seems there is no way to change things.

It ain't necessarily so.

Nobody said this would be easy, derailing the Establishment machine, but don't give up. If HRC and her folks somehow manage to get the nomination we still have a pivot to take of our own.

We have to try and keep this movement together and aim it at 2018. If we can remove a number of lunatic rightwingers and Third Way quizlings from Congress that will make a big difference. Of course, the main problem will be making sure we don't replace them with the likes of Rahm Emanuel.

There is a lot to be done before the final decision is reached on 2016 BUT it can't be done if our own people hold a fantasy in mind that the people who run things are going to just go away because we showed up.

Nobody said this would be easy.

Remember that guy that quit? Nobody else does either.

Doing the right thing is never easy. Especially now with everything on the line and with all the power of the elite brought to bear against us. Bernie said he's in it until Philadelphia and so am I. In it to win it. Go, Bernie.

The entire point of all of the MSMs shenanigans, deceptive super-delegate count, and the blackout on any Bernie coverage is to convince Us to stop sending Bernie money.

6. I think so too. It won't work because we have principles that are true.

5. We didn't expect the opposition to be Democrats.

We can deal with difficult. I've waited 45 years for someone like Bernie. We'll never stop trying, but it's pretty hopeless when half the Dem party is clueless to progressive ideals.

Not just clueless - actively resistant.

I would have expected to see the "I've got mine, so let me pull the ladder up now" attitude from Republicans, but not supposed Democrats. So many people actively resistant to the truth about Hillary, and wanting to imaging the Democratic Party as their "team" rather than the party they work within and want to make better.

I remember on DU how Bernie fans predicted Hillary will get shellacked at first debate and never recover. HA Goodman said Hillary would come in 3rd place in Iowa.

and we shouldn't be chearing on people leaving the party either. Thats insane.

I thought she'd have a Net gain of over 100 delegate last night she didn't her biggest net geat was florida with 67 or so plus 14 in NC. and right now the 2 other states have canceled each other out because she's ahead 1 in ILL and minus one in MO But even with 2 thats less than a Net Gain of 100 delegates ( yes she won some 200 + delegates but Net gain is how many more delegates gained than Bernie and thats under 100 so it was like the Super duber deflate Tuesday. Think someone has been deflating our balls again lol

12. Good points. The net gain & total advantage are the real numbers to be discussed and overcome. nt

It was a disheartening evening BUT you are ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY RIGHT. To see the obstacles thrown in his path - from dead silence in the media to vicious attack stories & editorials from every which way, wow, we've got our work cut out for his. He has given us a candle in the darkness & we've got to continue this long, surely bitter, but ultimately winnable fight!
