Hillary's big victory in Ohio has bigger impact than just the delegates.

It suggests that she will do well in neighboring Pennsylvania. PA is big with 189 delegates and combined with other big delegate mid-Atlantic states.. MD (95) and NJ (126) which should also go Hillary, that will further cement Hillary's road to the nomination.

Plus New York (247) which should also go to Hillary in a fairly big way, these 4 states could easily net Hillary another 100 delegates.

That will likely offset any gains Bernie might gain from his remaining favorable states.

And I think it's possible future turn out for him may be depressed, especially in caucus states which require quite a bit of time investment to participate.

Time will tell. Ours is on the 26th and I am looking forward to me (and my whole family) caucusing for Hillary!

If he gets shellacked there like in Cleveland, Cincy, Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, KC, Boston, Miami, etc., things ain't gonna end well for him in the Commonwealth.

does not look good: Both Kasich and Trump, in a four-way race, beat both Clinton and Sanders. Our Democrats are not even the second choice for Ohians.

The polling place I worked in Ohio yesterday had more D's voting R than I have ever seen. And I don't buy that Kasich is that popular here. Hear some offhand opinions by the voters that were very anti D.

Republicans.

Part of what drives primary voting is having a strong opinion between the candidates. It very well could be that a lot of Democrats just don't see that much difference between Clinton and Sanders.

More importantly, he was the guy for people who wanted to stop Trump from clinching the nomination. The race would have been over had Trump won.

of the Sanders' campaigns rationale going forward. Ohio is a state he should have won if he was going to mount any comeback, and instead he got crushed there.

PA, NY, NJ will be even worse--they're big media markets and closed primaries (registered Democrats are generally not feeling the Bern).

Clinton was the prohibitive favorite even before OH was called, but the symbolism of her taking a hugely important swing state felt like the final nail in the coffin.

will return to its GOP garrisons. About 35 to 40 percent of Bernie's base is purely anti-Hillary. A big portion of that are the Right trying to stick it to Hillary. They will begin to agree that she is going to be the nominee and will not have the motivation to stir the pot as their party goes off the rails.
