Avoid the Trump humping and Daily Caller articles and you can advocate for Bernie until there is a nominee.

Just be advised that a bunch of your fellow partisans are also complaining that there isn't enough conciliation on the part of HRC supporters.

So Bernie supporters need to figure out whether they want to get it as good as they give it, or maybe let things cool down

And Hillary supporters could have been councilary for telling David Brock to go fuck himself for all the poo he flung at Bernie and his supporters. Although then again, some of the poo came from Hillary herself. Those mailers claiming that Bernie voted against the auto bailout? Serious fucking bridge burning.

No one forced Sanders supporters to shout Dolores Huerta down, or accuse her of taking bribes, or to swarm her fucking charity's Facebook page, or Elizabeth Warren's page, or the Twitter feed and email inbox of every author who has criticized Bernie Sanders.

David Brock is not responsible for the bad reputation Sanders supporters have-they earned it themselves.

David Brock did not invent the hashtag #mississippiberning. Nor did he force Bernie supporters here to cheer each other on by the hundreds when they told Hillary Clinton to "fuck yourself with a brick." Or to pimp propaganda from Breitbart, Daily Caller, etc in order to attack Clinton.

It wasn't David Brock who caused Bernie supporters to angrily lash out at Black Lives Matter and accuse them of working for Hillary Clinton or Karl Rove.

It wasn't David Brock who forced Sanders supporters to claim black Hillary voters in South Carolina had a slave mentality, or that blacks and GLBT citizens who supported Clinton were suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

Please--don't act like you all are the victims because your antics drew attention.

Even when most of those things happened at DU.

Over 100 Bernie fans did rec a post telling Hillary Clinton to "fuck yourself with a brick."

That did happen. Right here at DU.

So they made up bullshit about his supporters to claim that they were racist and sexist. It's a fucking gutter campaign. It worked very well in the primary, but is completely idiotic in the general election. It's been going on for a year. The time for unity was months ago to shut this bullshit down. There's so much double standard. If Bernie had treated a black girl like Hillary did at an all white event in South Carolina, the Internet would have fucking broke. This shit is destroying the party.

But that is David Brock's fault somehow. Or is it David Brock's fault decent people are repulsed by such hate speech?

Plenty of Clinton supporters objected in the comments. And the recs piled up.

Another one that drew dozens of recs in the Bernie group was a post mocking Patty Davis's facial expression at her own mother's funeral. Pure class.
