Staying in the race: Hillary explains why she was staying in Spring 2008

This interview is infamous for the mention of Bobby Kennedy's murder late in the primary season as reason to remain in the contest but her other remarks are very, very different from the remarks about Bernie being made by her boosters here today. One assumes that Hillary herself must still hold to the logic she puts forth here as her verbiage indicates a strongly held position of principle.

Shall I find the link for the interview where he says that?

I can also find a recent photo of Jane Sanders schmoozing with America's most racist sheriff in Arizona.

Happy to supply a link to that little photo-op AND to the racist sheriff debunking Jane Sanders' attempt to pretend the meeting wasn't prearranged. Just let me know.

What I find amusing is somehow, you think everyone who supports Clinton does so blindly.

She's not perfect. She's still miles better than Sanders.

At least her last attempt at running for POTUS she LEARNED who the base of the Democratic Party actually is.

Sanders still doesn't seem to get it.

Please provide the link.

Thank you.

I can not find a single article stating that the meeting was prearranged.

She was a social worker and wanted to see the conditions of Tent City.

seem to disagree with her entirely now that the opposite opinion serves their moment but since you wanted to talk about Jane Sanders at Tent City let me cite actual sources on this 'schmoozing' and see if your framing seems honest at all:

Bernie Sanders' Wife, Jane, Tours Tent City, Challenges Sheriff Joe Arpaio on Racial Profiling

"In particular, she grilled the sheriff on his enforcement of Senate Bill 1070, the 2010 law, nicknamed the “papers please” statute, that made it a crime to violate federal immigration laws and empowered local police to check immigration status at traffic stops. At one point, Arpaio was housing immigrants snatched up under the law at Tent City.
When Sanders accused Arpaio of being “supportive of racial profiling,” the sheriff brushed her off.

After the tour, Sanders met with relatives of undocumented immigrants arrested by Arpaio’s office at the headquarters of the immigrant-rights group Puente.

As the immigrants shared stories of arrests at traffic stops and struggling to navigate their way through the legal system without knowing English or having money to hire a proper lawyer, Sanders wiped away tears. Several times, she reached across the table to clasp hands with people after they shared their stories."

Jane Sanders, Bernie's wife, debates Arpaio about Tent City
A day before her husband, Sen. Bernie Sanders, was set to hold a presidential campaign rally in Phoenix, Jane Sanders held an impromptu event of her own, verbally sparring with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio before touring his outdoor jail known as Tent City.

I am waiting for a link from the poster to prove what they said.

I can not find a single article that says the meeting was prearranged.

I would not believe sheriff Joe over Jane.

As a former social worker she was concerned about the conditions.

Why are they making this out to be a bad thing ???

I just don't understand their tactics.

They love conservatives and hate liberals. They push stone cold lies to smear people like Jane and other outlandish lies to prop up their festering icons like Ron and Nancy. This is also why her supporters refuse to discuss the Reagan As AIDS Hero bullshit. It exposes their entire template.

9. Jane Sanders statement after Tent City:
Thu Mar 17, 2016, 06:45 PM
Mar 2016

"What I saw and heard firsthand today by visiting with the families and seeing tent city was very disturbing. Sheriff Arpaio did not even attempt to explain or excuse his inhumane treatment of people of color -- not that he could. That kind of attitude toward our fellow human beings is completely unacceptable, especially in elected officials and those who would seek public office. We all need to stand up and put an end to these egregious human rights abuses."
http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/15/politics/jane-sanders-joe-arpaio-tent-city-tour/index.html

You call that "Jane Sanders schmoozing with America's most racist sheriff in Arizona."

Which is as dishonest as claiming Ron and Nancy started the conversation on AIDS. Just as an example off the top of my head of a really dishonest thing to say.

I noticed she never provided a link to back up her lies.

So sad to see what is happening in this country.

It is happening in my own family.

I found out my niece's husband voted for Trump.

I only see him twice a year, Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.

I don't think I will be able to stand being in the same room with him

after finding out he voted for Trump.

I just don't understand what is happening.

I feel I don't belong on this planet.

It was shameful.

I didn't have much of a problem with her staying in and running in all 50 states--she owed it to her supporters, indeed all the women who had dreamed of voting for a woman for President.

Similarly, Bernie should by all means stay in, but not listen to people like Tad Devine who are already pushing some deeply irresponsible ideas.

Bernie should stay in ... if nothing else ... it ensures that the media can't move their entire 2016 framing to nothing but the GOP's top issues. Some continued back and forth by Bernie and Hillary is good for the party, and for the General.
