In a testy exchange Thursday on CBS This Morning, Sen. Elizabeth Warren refused to answer a question about whether former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential front runner, should release transcripts of her paid speeches to Goldman Sachs.
Host Norah ODonnell asked the question directly, then came back at the Democrat from Massachusetts when Warren avoided answering it. ODonnell told Warren, Youre not answering my question, Senator. Its a yes or no answer. Warren ignored the challenge and continued to praise the Democratic candidates instead for debating the issues on the campaign trail.
Warren stayed on her talking points despite the tension, going on to favorably compare the Democrats who are doing what candidates should be doing to what she said the Republicans were giving voters. Theyre doing some kind of reality show.

(10,856 posts)All she had to say to better dodge that question would be, "that's Secretary Clintons decision".

(62,265 posts)She played it as well as she could, especially given she's not one of those "natural politicians." You got to be very careful with how your words can be easily twisted.

(755 posts)the epic, publicly funded SECRET meetings he had with all the oil execs right after Bush the Lesser stole the election with the help of the Republican SupremOs, and the duplicitous duo of Republican Plutocrats was SWORN in circa 2001?
You know, the SECRET meetings that led directly to the Bush-Repube Administration's official so-called energy policy? This was all before...all before...all before...
