2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumQuestioning Hillary's Strength Against Trump is *NOT* "Trump Humping". It's a Fact.
Hillary and Trump are pretty darn even in most of the polls these days, and it's been that way for months. Hillary is going to have a very difficult time in the GE *if* she becomes the nominee. You know who consistently does much better in the polls? He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. You know, the other candidate running for the Democratic nomination that the media, political establishment, and the owners of this board seem fit to ignore.
Btw, "Trump Humping" is such a stupid term.

(34,845 posts)Even Trump winning the GOP nomination is at this point more of a theory than anything else. Once teams start to take real sides, as opposed to hypothetical ones, the polls will be more reliable.
Until then, we should relax. Clinton or Sanders will do fine against Trump, if it comes to that.

(62,269 posts)There is no credible argument showing Trump can win, he needs 40%+ of the Latino vote. He needs 64%+ of the white vote. Republican women say they'd vote for Clinton by 25%. Milennials break for Clinton 90%. These are the demographic facts that make Trumps winning impossible.
Every time someone "questions" Clinton vs Trump it's pure insinuation, there is no credible analysis. The people laughably saying Trump has minority support just because an AA person attends his rally, pointing to his Nevada caucus result to prove he has Latino support, just rolling on the floor laughing hilarious.
