There is a very important part most

of us leave out of the primary/GE equation:
The purple states.
I think it was a rather close win for HRC in
Nevada (+5-6%), but a healthy one for Trump.

In my state (CO) Bernie won pretty well, but
the repugs did not decide on any candidate.
This state helped (though barely) Obama in 12.

My fear is that the little bit of purple we have left
will be wiped out by a HRC nomination and will go
straight over back to the red side. That would
probably include a Senator, and one or two reps.

I wonder what other people think, who also live
in purple states.

Not a purple state (Oregon), but possibly an at-risk Senator. Lizzie Poppet Mar 2016 #1

Ron Wyden has taken a lot of flack for his inexplicable position on TPP...although I don't think the Republican field has anyone that can really challenge him. But a Hillary nomination won't help Democratic turnout here, and Ron's already likely made a lot of further-left folk unenthusiastic about him.

And yes, I'm upset with him...one of my favorite politicians delivers a stab in the back to working people. I'll still vote for him...but I've let him have it for that TTP nonsense.
