I plan on voting for Bernie but there are plenty of Independents who were Democrats all of their lives who finally got tired of people trying to run roughshod over them. You do understand don't you that lots of Independents were former Democrats, right? You do understand that if you keep insulting Bernie supporters you may have more Democrats leaving the Party? You do understand that Democrats really need all the votes we can get in November, right? What is the point of this post?

the FDR coalition collapsed in 1980. It had run its course. The same exact thing is happening over at the Republican party right now. Reaganism is dead. It happens to all movements.
