The major cause of terrorist attacks is the endless wars and interventions in the middle east

Hillary Clinton has been one of the key players that led us down that path.

She was the top person who talked President Obama into doing the intervention in Libya. Now because of that Libya is a failed state and ISIS is running rampant there.

She followed the same course in Syria, advising President Obama from early on to arm the so-called "moderate" Syrian rebels in overthrowing their government. Again this turned out to be a huge gift to the ISIS terrorist army .

And ISIS wouldn't even exist if it hadn't been for the US invasion of Iraq. The US destroyed the government there and created the chaos that spawned ISIS.

Seriously folks I don't think Hillary can be trusted to run foreign policy and defense policy. She has shown an extreme disregard for human life on all sides. And she has a history of supporting all these horrible policy choices that led to the rise of ISIS as a major terrorist threat.

1. Some responsibility falls on the terrorists too

It all goes back to Eve eating the apple, but that doesn't absolve individuals of accountability for their own actions.

They probably see themselves as soldiers in a war. As a country though we shouldn't be going out of our way to create more terrorists.

2. It's exactly the point of why they do it

They crack nations like eggs, slaughter and torture swaths of people, and then when a few successfully fight back, it becomes a world event.

Either that, or they all die quietly and "Mission accomplished!"

As someone pointed out earlier today(paraphrasing): "It used to be called 'Neocon.' Now it's just normal."

Bernie is not perfect but they're not even playing in the same league on this issue.

Bernie has spoken out against aggressive interventionist wars for decades. Since he was a mayor and traveled to Nicaragua, and when he criticized the US policy of trying to overthrow the government of Cuba. He spoke against Gulf War I in 1991 and Gulf War II in 2003. But not in a knee-jerk way since we know he did support other actions like when President Bill Clinton took military action in the former Yugoslavia.

He stood on national TV at the debate in Miami and he condemned the Monroe doctrine. That's huge. That's been a cornerstone of US policy since the beginning and he said it won't be part of his policy.

The candidates could hardly be more different on this issue. They are very close to being opposites.

9. Some people wrongly think that Bernie is a pacifist

He believes in a strong military. He just thinks that proper judgement should be utilized.

I'm not a fan of the F-35 but it's in production and it's his job to bring what benefits he can back to his home state.

The impact of Hillary on the middle east is pretty clear by this point.

8. Peaceful people in America have had no voice in Washington in many years

The right wing has run the country and has not allowed any others to even have a voice, so they have had free rein to invade and pre emtively strike countries at the direction of the corporations who benefit from these wars.

Because the left has had NO VOICE we have been involved in endless wars and regime changes that we know to have been criminal. We have got to allow the left and the right equal representation in Washington, or our government will continue to have a power structure that is slipping further and further away from anything that resembles a representational democracy.

They created this nightmare. Just another reason when I talk to some of my foreign national friends, I wind up feeling the need to apologize for my country.
