it's time to start throwing Obama's policies under the bus. Would expect no less from an unprincipled, triangulating Clinton.

I did the math and, as far as I can tell, HRC doesn't have enough delegates to be declared the winner.

does Bernie have a reasonable path to the nomination? History and probability say no.

the assertions that she has virtually already won and that most polls agree.

My question is, why is this the main info they want to disseminate? They could be
extolling her virtues or even disagreeing with Bernie's positions.

I think their strategy is designed to discourage Bernie's movement to the point that in future
primaries the number of Bernie's votes will be diminished.

...if your candidate wasn't so perilously behind at this point, you'd likely be singing the same song, albeit, more of a full-pitch shout coming from supporters about Hillary having the audacity to continue from here.

Politics, like your own post trying to ward off these impressions of a doomed campaign.

But, I disagree that if Bernie was so "perilously behind" (which I don't think he is.), I'd be
"singing the same song".

the other debater.

(I only mentioned the "tone" of our discussion as an example of a better and more constructive way to argue than most of what we see on DU lately.)

would be if he had started his campaign five years earlier among his colleagues. We know now that he planned to run long before this year, yet he bypassed the usual foundation laying. He had other plans and when Warren backed off, he grabbed his chance and has actually done fantastically, essentially just stepping up and offering himself and his had-enough ideology to the nation.

I've admired the Clintons for many of their achievements. But, some of their recorded behaviors
lift them out of the realm of righteous achievers into a World of violators of public ethics.

I'm sorry to speak ill of your candidate but on the other hand, they shouldn't be allowed to be immune
from the negative aspects of their political lives. They have , in fact, gotten away with a lot of
bad behavior.

I realize it's satire, but it's part of a liar's trend to slap "math" onto biased opinions to make them look like objective facts.

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=129972868

Repeating these "Math" threads is nothing but an attempt to dishearten others. It is no better than schoolyard bullying.
