(1,442 posts)HRC supporters are having a tough time with allowing rest of states being able to cast their votes in this primary
Califonz
(465 posts)it's time to start throwing Obama's policies under the bus. Would expect no less from an unprincipled, triangulating Clinton.
Shadowflash
(1,536 posts)I did the math and, as far as I can tell, HRC doesn't have enough delegates to be declared the winner.

(39,171 posts)does Bernie have a reasonable path to the nomination? History and probability say no.

(17,320 posts)the assertions that she has virtually already won and that most polls agree.
My question is, why is this the main info they want to disseminate? They could be
extolling her virtues or even disagreeing with Bernie's positions.
I think their strategy is designed to discourage Bernie's movement to the point that in future
primaries the number of Bernie's votes will be diminished.

...if your candidate wasn't so perilously behind at this point, you'd likely be singing the same song, albeit, more of a full-pitch shout coming from supporters about Hillary having the audacity to continue from here.
Politics, like your own post trying to ward off these impressions of a doomed campaign.

But, I disagree that if Bernie was so "perilously behind" (which I don't think he is.), I'd be
"singing the same song".

(17,320 posts)"classic" debate where both parties advanced their views with no personal malice or denigration toward
the other debater.
(I only mentioned the "tone" of our discussion as an example of a better and more constructive way to argue than most of what we see on DU lately.)
Hortensis
(58,785 posts)would be if he had started his campaign five years earlier among his colleagues. We know now that he planned to run long before this year, yet he bypassed the usual foundation laying. He had other plans and when Warren backed off, he grabbed his chance and has actually done fantastically, essentially just stepping up and offering himself and his had-enough ideology to the nation.
ladjf
(17,320 posts)I think Bernie added it all up and decided now was the time for him.
Hortensis
(58,785 posts)that he has a really strong opponent. What if she'd decided to devote herself to foundation work and being a grandmother? Biden?
ladjf
(17,320 posts)exactly what they want and are exceptionally talented in the skill it takes to procure the big money.
Hortensis
(58,785 posts)extremely hard working and goal directed. With the greatest will in the world, only a few could come from their very ordinary backgrounds to live these particular versions of the American dream.

(17,320 posts)I've admired the Clintons for many of their achievements. But, some of their recorded behaviors
lift them out of the realm of righteous achievers into a World of violators of public ethics.
I'm sorry to speak ill of your candidate but on the other hand, they shouldn't be allowed to be immune
from the negative aspects of their political lives. They have , in fact, gotten away with a lot of
bad behavior.

(1,182 posts)I realize it's satire, but it's part of a liar's trend to slap "math" onto biased opinions to make them look like objective facts.

Repeating these "Math" threads is nothing but an attempt to dishearten others. It is no better than schoolyard bullying.
