On Hillary and the transcripts: she loses.

Hillary said she will release her Wall Street speeches when the Republicans do the same. Fast forward to the GE. If Hillary is the nominee, and the Republican candidate decides to release his speeches and then challenges her to do the same, what does she do then?

Oooooops!

If I were Kasich, Cruz, or Trump, I would release my speeches today.

You know that Senators are not allowed to do paid speeches right?

That is against the law.

I suspect they don't care, especially given the decades of GOP mudslinging directed at Hillary Clinton, this is just one more vague attempt to distract from the important problems people expect their president to solve.

These transcripts you speak of are completely irrelevant to the average person on the street who likely gets all their important news in sound bites. These picayunish issues are only meaningful to the narrow faction of Democratic voters who dislike Clinton enough that they would actually enable a Republican victory to demonstrate their opposition; and its certainly their right to do so. But by the time the party nominees engage in the GE, the topics of contention will have evolved to the larger national issues like the economy, security, employment, etc., the stuff that actually impacts all of our lives.
