(23,156 posts)where Hillary is doing well is King county, which is Seattle. She looks to have half of the votes there but is doing very poorly everywhere else.
Did she even bother to campaign in Washington?

(8,541 posts)I got to see her speak at Rainier Beach HS as I don't live fare from there.
I always expected to do well in some parts of King County.

(31,935 posts)Her precinct was split about 67-33% for Bernie,so it must have been just a few wealthy pockets where she won big.
And yes, she did campaign there. Also sent out mailers that attempted to send people to the wrong caucus locations at the wrong times!

(23,156 posts)my above post, but if I self-delete the responses won't make any sense.
What I'm even more impressed by is that the Hillary people have been mocking us for a month or so, saying that Bernie needs to win 60% of the remaining delegates (actually it was more like a mere 58%) and of course that would be impossible going forward. Instead, so far in both Washington and Alaska he has well above 70%. The specific numbers keep changing of course, but he's going to walk away from today with a noticeable chunk out of her delegate lead.

(3,687 posts)It might hurt Bush's reputation and credibility if Gore wound up with more votes.
Clinton supporters have been using the same RW Rovian 'rationale': Bernie should just drop out because otherwise he might win.

(28,876 posts)I predict they'll call this shortly. King just reported a bunch more and flipped to firmly Bernie.

(23,156 posts)with about 60% of the vote (actually just under 85% when I last saw the math posted) in all the states from now on, and isn't it just odd that he's doing even better than that?

(93 posts)The big prize being the Golden State (and New Mexico, of course!) with its 700+ delegates, which can put Bernie in the driver's seat in securing the nomination.

(23,156 posts)that people who know a lot more about this than I do kept on saying Bernie might possibly win Iowa (it was a tie), would definitely win Vermont, and would lose big on Super Tuesday, but everything afterward favored him. Not to see he'll win every primary from now on, but he's winning today quite big so far, well ahead of what we've been sneeringly told he needs to do.
I'm pretty sure NM, even though it's in that final group of states to vote, will go big for Bernie. While bumper stickers and yard signs aren't the full picture, I'm not sure I've seen a single Clinton sticker or sign, and I've seen a few Bernie ones.
