Should the National Democratic Convention be threatened with OPEN CARRY the same way...

...that some so-called Democrats right here on DU threaten state universities with CAMPUS CARRY?

I'm damn tired of seeing MY university threatened here on DU with the Domestic Terrorism of CAMPUS CARRY.

If OPEN CARRY is so damn good in the eyes of so-called Democrats who post here with impunity, then why don't Democrats allow it at their national Democratic Convention?

Why is it OK to force it on MY university, but not on your own damn Convention?

Personally, I'm sick of these Zimmerman Supporters being allowed to threaten Domestic Terrorism against State Universities on a Democratic Board.

If it's good enough for Higher Education in this country, then it's good enough for the Democratic and Republican Conventions.

Does it really deserve that sort of abuse? Calling campus carry "terrorism" grotesquely devalues and insults the victims of actual terrorism. Hyperbole doesn't help your cause...

Just like threats of CONVENTION CARRY are perfectly legal.

And the threats are made outside of the gungeon with impunity.

Let's not pretend like the Zimmerman Supporters confine their antics here to the gungeon.

They stalk those of us who teach at state universities with repeated threats of CAMPUS CARRY at our universities all over DU.

YOUR COMMENTS

> Open Carry Campus Carry In Iowa In 2016!

Creepy comment to make out of the blue when made directed towards an instructor at a state university in Iowa.

What are you trying to prove by reference to open displays of deadly weapons at specific universities where DUers teach?

Is this comment some kind of threat?

We don't threaten our fellow posters here at DU.

Please hide.

Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: I don't know the intent of this post, but it is disturbing, to say the least. However, the fact that several DU members here are mocking people who are saying they are afraid and in pain... makes me upset. Open carry campus? How does that message have anything to do with the conversation at hand? Unless it is indeed intended to be threatening, or to praise the idea of an open carry campus. In either case, I vote to hide.
