willard's post town hall conduct compared to john mcsame's.

I just showed my wife a thread that showed simultaneous screen captures of President Obama and willard after the town hall debate last week.

It showed President and Mrs. Obama greeting the members of the audience while willard was surrounded by his family as he ducked his head and seemed to be using them as human shields of a sort. It made me think of the town hall debate 4 years ago. I remember seeing the Obamas doing the same, chatting, greeting and posing for pictures with the audience members. I remember the C-Span host stating that they'd received severa le-mails and phone calls asking why the mcsames weren't being shown and explaining that they were long gone, having left the venue almost immediately after the debate. A debate format, I may remind you, that was john mcsame's preference.

So my point, and I do have one, is that mcsame got outta Dodge as fast as his legs could carry him and willard hides behind his family. Once again in this campaign, willard's conduct is even worse than john mcsame's in similar situations.

Why President Obama isn't polling MILES ahead of willard at this point I will NEVER understand!

PEACE!

Why were Obama's #s in 2008 better than now? Here's why:

1. Citizen United: The biggest factor is Citzen United which now allows repubz to compete against Obama big time.

2. Everyone hated Bush: In 2008 Obama was a mystery and embodied the idea of "change" (even being Black embodied that) which excited a lot of people (young and old). People were tied of Bush and wanted something new badly.

3. Financial Collapse: In late September of 2008 the financial market collapsed that made it crystal clear that demorats needed to be back in power to the electorate

4. Obama Allowed Romeny to be Liked: In debate #1 Obama allowed Romney to feed 67 million viewers a 2hr Ad about how awsome he was. Before that people didnt know anything about Romney which allowed Obama to make big gains in the polls. But now they felt he was likeable enough, even though he was lying, and Obama's #s dropped. We arent seeing much of a bounce from Debate #2 (and none from the VP debate) because people already knew Obama so its more about them being turned off by Romney and so far they arent too turned off (but the polls show it did shift slightly back to Obama). This says to me even if Obama had a great debate #1 Romney's #s were bound to rise (assuming he just held his own -- e.g. tied).

...republican conduct towards this president has been nothin but an uninterrupted negative campaign ad since election night, 2008. Eventually the constant repeating of the same attacks become just so much white noise.

Of course, my family doesn't have cable or dish, so we don't see the ads.

PEACE!

And I think they are calling a terribly skewed section of this country.

I think polls are just as manipulated as the media and so many other things in this country.
