Cruz's "New York Values" vs Clintons "Campaign like a brooklynite" (Original Post) DFab420 Mar 2016 OP
For one, Cruz doesn't have his national HQ in Brooklyn. nt geek tragedy Mar 2016 #1
Yes, odd how Cruz is the one who looks less hypocritical here. JonLeibowitz Mar 2016 #2

and interpreting the statement in the most inflammatory way possible in order to gin up outrage.

That's never been known to happen in politics, though.

Good grief. Fake outrage. Completely fake.

I live in Brooklyn, and nobody here is going to take "like a Brooklynite" to be a Jew-baiting classist slur. Try buying a home here if you think it's the wrong side of the tracks.

just put a Klan hood on.

We have a sense of humor about this shit.

And we also know that people from Queens aren't going to pull the snob routine on us. Manhattanites, maybe. People from Queens or the Bronx? Nope.

Hillary's already carried Brooklyn in two major elections. I lived in NYC during both of those. She beat two hometown boys, remember? 100% correct, no one is going to give a damn about her saying "like a Brooklynite." New Yorkers don't have enough spare time to worry about that kind of crap. LOL!!!!!!

But, as far as the fake outrage is concerned, they would have us believe that people from Queens are sitting there looking down on others.

Brooklyn has 1000000X the snob appeal Queens does.

It's so deeply stupid.

I have to agree with you. I was born in Brooklyn and had ties to Brooklyn for 66 years. I live in NJ and am involved in local politics. When someone tries to get to me I just take them down and remind them that I'm a Brooklyn girl and nobody ought to mess with me.

NJ tough is no where near Brooklyn tough.
