3. Why would we have joined the attack?

I do believe we all recognize, and are angered by, bullshit smears when we see them.
I hate that it happened, but - to put it bluntly (as usual) - it is always instructive when people show their real asses. It was quite a good lesson for my Redditor grandson, who had asked me, weeks ago, why some said Hillary's supporters were seen attending Bernie's events, just recording away. i told him they were looking for possible things to distort, cherry-pick, and then smear with. Perfect example.
