Bernie Sanders as Commander-in-Chief

http://www.commondreams.org/views/2016/03/29/bernie-sanders-commander-chief

Tulsi Gabbard, a Hawaii congresswoman and Iraq War veteran, stars in a stunning ad endorsing Sanders as “Commander-in-Chief,” a potential turning point in the race.

Sen. Bernie Sanders’s landslide victories in Washington State, Alaska and Hawaii on Saturday coincided with a long-awaited signal that he may finally be ready to challenge former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the “Commander-in-Chief” question, which has been regarded as one of her key strengths.

In what may be the most striking campaign commercial of the presidential race, the Sanders campaign released an ad, entitled “The Cost of War” and featuring Hawaii’s Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, an Iraq War veteran who endorsed Sanders not just as her preference for President but as Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. military.

Many neoconservatives and “liberal interventionists” now see Clinton as the vessel carrying their hopes for more “regime change” wars.

Mrs. Clinton as commander in chief would be a disaster for the country and world peace. Nothing but endless war and a bumbling, incompetent foreign policy. Millions more will die to satisfy that woman's blood lust.

since Dukakis rode around in the tank. bernie might be a lot of things but him as commander in chief as a visual would be a scream. He is not exactly a commanding manly presence. He strikes me as a guy who has never done a pushup his entire life.

Can you see the republicans tearing him a new asshole. "Commander in chief also a conscientious objector" I think I will ask my friend( a woman) who served 4 years as an MP about Bernie as commander in chief. I think she will have tears in her eyes from laughing.

Among other things, he played basketball and ran distance events in track. Probably did quite a few push-ups along the way. I know I did, and I was nowhere near his abilities.

Nice try, but a solid fail.

and Clinton were wrong. Judgement matters in a commander-in-chief, more so than superficies.
